The apartment is an individual unit, in a quiet cul-de-sac situated close to the Avon River. It is positioned for a short stroll into the city centre or to the Christchurch Conference Centre.  If you play bridge, the largest club in Christchurch, the Christchurch Bridge Club, is just over the back fence.

At just NZ$75 (approx US$44) a double per night, or NZ$95 (approx US$55) for bed and breakfast, the apartment is an affordable accommodation option. The apartment is one bedroom with a queen size bed in a separate bedroom. 

It has an ensuite including a super spa tub. Linen is provided as are tea, coffee and milk. There is a laundry and your own lock up garage.  The Avon Loop Motel really is a home away from home. There is a separate lounge/dining area and a separate toilet. 

The apartment also has a full kitchen with a few extra ingredients in the cupboard for those who like to cook for themselves. The Avon Lodge Central Motel-Apartment is run by Charlie and is one of the gems in Christchurch Accommodation.
