Good retirement spots: Coffs Harbour and surrounding towns (Urunga, Bellingen, Valla etc) NSW - the atmosphere in the smaller towns is very laid back - nice weather, and Coffs Harbour provides the conveniences you need. Sunshine Coast, Qld - nice warm weather, very beachy area. Its about a 3.5 hour drive north of Sydney and it is a fantastic retirment place.
